The Digital Business Architect Team Leader contributes to GC’s strategic plan and financial goals by ensuring client success and satisfaction for renewal and expansion of contracted services. The Digital Business Architect Team Leader works across the organization to plan resource needs, provide ongoing updates to management, and ensure projects track on budget.

This role will work on a variety of digital content management projects for clients, identify areas of strategic opportunity for clients, consult with clients on best practices, and work with management to build and shape the delivery of associated services. This is a senior-level, individual contributor role.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead client interactions and develop a trusted advisor relationship with client stakeholders. Consult on digital best practices and ensure clients are leveraging GC offerings to achieve full business value.
  • Continuously and proactively identify opportunities to grow Gournay Consulting penetration, present opportunities for new projects/products, and close agreements.
  • Leverage proficiency with available technology and process and innovate new ways to use technology and process to accurately and efficiently complete scopes of work.
  • Leverage technology available to client to select viable options for managing business needs.
  • Guide team members on ways to use technology and process to most efficiently complete work.
  • Develop and manage Scope of Work Agreements by collaborating internally and externally to meet the needs and expectations of all stakeholders, ensuring accurate, detailed records
  • Contribute to company’s financial success by negotiating SOWs with optimal financial outcomes and delivering projects with appropriate margins and profitability.
  • Contribute to organization talent development through project teamwork and collaboration.
  • Build relationships with key client contacts.
  • Communicate regularly and proactively with GC Management on client project plans, status, opportunities, and issues.
  • Develop and lead client work plans with internal stakeholders, including prioritizing projects, tasks, and coordinating internal resources.
  • Manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Drive opportunities to expand client services with relationships built from current engagements.
  • Advocate for clients with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines and deliver team’s work within budgeted hours and timeframe.
  • Manage client meeting cadences by leading discussions to ensure forward progress. Work with internal teams to develop agendas and share follow up meeting notes internally and externally to ensure superior communication and alignment on project and work.
  • Work independently, across Gournay Consulting, and with clients to solve problems and provide alternative solutions to client problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Be accessible and responsive in addressing client needs and management requests.
  • Lead efforts to retrieve, analyze and model data to obtain strategic insights and solve diverse business problems.
  • Assist business development process from conception to completion by ensuring alignment of key stakeholders, developing timeline and cadence of key milestone, creating risk strategy to eliminate blockages, providing high-level communications, and establishing KPIs.
  • Lead matrix teams with positivity and motivation, developing team members for growth
  • Work with internal team members to offer guidance that will impress our clients with superior services that deliver a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
  • Become an expert on the range, type, and applicability of services that Gournay Consulting offers and lead ideation of forward-thinking services.
  • Have a clear understanding of the various work done by Gournay Consulting Team in order to accurately estimate project work hours and guide team members to deliver goals.
  • Provide clear communication internally to team members related to project status, direction, support needed, and issues/opportunities.
  • Maintain appropriate administrative work (SOW tracking, management) to ensure accurate and timely invoicing

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant business experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a preferred focus in Business
  • Demonstrate and ensure timely, thorough, and clear communication of assigned project strategy, deliverable status, and results.
  • Ability to collaborate internally with team members and externally with client teams
  • Advanced experience working with data analytics, project management, and business development.
  • Ability to balance and manage multiple projects and tasks across multiple client groups.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • A self-starter who is motivated to excel and grow.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively both written and verbally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong time management with the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow an enterprise through new and existing business relationships.
  • Significant prior experience at a large CPG organization or agency.
  • Experience working with Salsify to manage Digital Shelf Strategy and Execution
  • Knowledge of retailer eCommerce requirements.
  • Experience managing contract development and negotiation.
